Akari — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 June 2026

Akari is designed to be completely private. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device.

What the app stores

Your promises, intentions, morning rehearsals, evening reflections, notes, and reminder preferences are stored locally on your device only. This information never leaves your phone and is never sent to us or to any third party.

What we collect

Nothing. Akari has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no login. We do not use analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or any third-party SDKs that collect data. The app makes no network connections to send your information anywhere.

Permissions

Notifications (optional): If you turn on the morning or evening reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. These are generated on the device itself and involve no data leaving your phone. Reminders are off by default.

Data retention and deletion

Because your data lives only on your device, you are always in control. You can archive or permanently delete individual promises within the app, and uninstalling the app removes all of its data from your device.

Children's privacy

Akari does not collect data from anyone, including children.
